| I have not bought this. From the pictures I see white and red extension wire which I believe is Type J 0 to 750°C which matches description better than K –200 to 1250°C | ||

Terminals crimped on insulation | |
| The thermocouple wasnt working until I noticed that the crimp terminals are crimped on the insulation and a folded back conductor. Some how the conductor was missed. I clipped off both terminals and stripped back to bare wire; now it is working. My other gripe is that the color code is not the Yellow/Red I expected for a K-type. It is Blue/Red like a T-type thermocouple. I have not verified if Im seeing accurate temperatures yet. | ||
